Our referee for tomorrow night. At least partially explains his appalling VAR performance on Sunday for Spurs - Liverpool.
Whether consciously or sub-consciously, clearly didn't fancy reffing at WHL, having overruled the equally inept Tierney for an obvious penalty and a stonewall red card for Kane, in the game before.
Would have been a slightly different backdrop with a Spurs defeat and Kane on a 3 match ban.
Interestingly for the Scousers, Kavanagh also comes from Greater Manchester.........

Because it was a second yellow card and you can't appeal against a yellow.

If the officials agree the coufal sending off was wrong why the hell hasn’t it been cancelled

The ref will be under pressure tonight, they will want Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham in the semi finals. The rest will have to work double hard

A red car in any era?
You have obviously not watched any football from before the 1990's then?

The Kane one was a disgrace.
A red card in any era. I blame the on field ref. He saw it and have a yellow. If he saw it and only thinks it’s a yellow that’s a huge worry.
Also do linesman give anything now ?
VAR is waste of time. As Kane says that’s what it is there for to check these things.

60 odd million people. Cant find 10 good enough to referee a game of football
VAR is there merley as a lifeline for the big clubs to rely on to help engineer certain results.
The game has been crooked for so long now

On the plus side this means Jon Moss is no where near interfering on the pitch tomorrow.

Couldn't help laughing at Liverpool feeling cheated, one of the rare occasions the boot is on the other foot. All those shit decisions against us this season, and every other season. Klopp's almost scripted whingeing has an element of truth about it this time. Shame it was spurs benefitting from this incompetence/bias though CUNTS.

Nice to get confirmation of what most observers knew when looking at VAR at the time. It would seem the premiership refs follow the time honoured approach of "ask for forgiveness" there will be no consequences and it will all be forgotten by the following week. They are open to unconcious bias and probably concious bias if that Kane tackle is an example. In the modern game that is a sending off. Kavanagh's bias must stem from it being the England capptain and generally good role model Kane is held up to be. But that is irrelevant. Klopp was right that it has to be objective.
Watch Kavanagh over correct and send West Ham player(s) off for less of a tackle tomorrow night. My money is on Fornals or Dawson.

FWIW David Moyes has confirmed that West Ham have had clarification from the Premier League referees that Vladimir Coufal should not have been sent off against Arsenal.
West Ham also received clarification that we should have been awarded a penalty against Burnley.

He shouldn’t be anywhere near a top class game, let alone refereeing the same side he conspired to allow two game changing favourable decisions two days ago

Am actually hoping this does work in our favour somehow.
Hopefully Kane now feels untouchable and does something even more reckless. Am worried about their dirty tricks and all the whining and diving though.

Alternatively he might now feel under pressure to look out for any Kane challenges.

Says it all that after a diabolical game changing error in at least not sending Tierney to the screen to SURELY send off Harold Kane he isnt punished at all and is straight back in action a few days later. Dealing with the same team that he blatantly assisted
